Getting started
How do I create an account?
Open the app, tap Create account, and enter your email and a password of at least 8 characters. Your ledger starts empty — nothing is shared between accounts.
How do I add a transaction?
Tap the + button on any screen. You can type the amount, photograph a receipt, or dictate it. The app fills in the amount, date and merchant, and you confirm before it saves.
How do I set a budget?
Go to Budgets, tap the monthly limit to change your overall cap, or tap any category row to set a limit just for that category.
Face ID and security
Do I have to use Face ID?
No. Face ID is offered after your first successful password sign-in and can be skipped or turned off at any time. Use password instead is always available on the unlock screen.
Where is my password stored?
When you enable Face ID, your credentials are stored in the iPhone Keychain, protected by the device passcode and only released after a successful biometric scan. They never leave your device except to sign in to our API over TLS.
Face ID stopped working after I changed my password.
Sign in once with the new password. The app will re-offer Face ID and replace the stored credentials.
Your data
Can I export everything?
Yes. More → Account & data → Export my data gives you every transaction, budget, account and goal as JSON.
How do I delete my account?
More → Account & data → Delete my account, or email david95oo1@gmail.com from your registered address. Deletion removes your transactions, budgets, accounts and profile.
Do you sell my data?
No. Never, to anyone. See the Privacy Policy.
Notifications and widgets
What notifications will I get?
Only the ones you switch on: a daily check-in reminder, a heads-up before a recurring bill is due, and a warning when a category nears its limit. All of them are generated on your device — we send no marketing push.
How do I add a Home Screen widget?
Long-press your Home Screen, tap +, search for AI Money Compass, and pick a widget. Open the app once first so the widget has data to show.
